Portrait in Iron

Michael Dooney has got some real painting chops. You can see it for yourself on his blog, where he showcases some fantastic painted sketches. I like his style because it reminds me of old-school artists from the golden age of illustration. Luckily for us, he's taken his talents and applied them to this great portrait of Iron Man. As Michael points out in his blog post, he prefers the older silver-age Iron Man design (me too!) but he chose to do paint the contemporary anime-influenced design for fun.
